All our software requires activation. The core product AND plug-ins ALL need activation keys. If you are evaluating our software then all pages created will have a red banner across them to indicate that the software has not been activated. The activation status can be displayed using the Help-About menu of ScanToPDF. This screen will show the activation status of ScanToPDF and plug-ins. If you evaluate a particular solution (which includes some plug-ins) and then go onto purchase something else it will be possible to still have plug-ins installed that are not activated and therefore documents are watermarked. To remove watermarks you can there purchase activation keys for all the plug-ins you have installed, or you can remove the plug-ins that are not activated using the Edit->Options->Plug-ins screen, selecting the plug-in from the list of plug-ins (by single clicking it) and then clicking "Remove". You can also use the "Remove all" button to remove all plug-ins.
You will receive an email with clear instructions about downloading and activating your software so please check your email in-box first. If you purchased a 30 day edition then your activation key is also in the email.
You can activate your software by logging into this web site using the Login/Register link at the top of this page and choosing "My Keys". You will need the serial number from your ScanToPDF software which you can see by starting ScanToPDF and clicking Help-About. More details..
