What Does The Data Gatherer Do?

The data gatherer is used to perform complex data extraction on scanned pages. The data can be extracted from barcode information or OCR data. The data is then pattern matched using Regular Expression pattern matching and the data is then saved in ScanToPDF variables for use in other operations such as filenaming or exported to other systems using the data exporter plug-in.
