The ADR plug-in recognises scanned documents automatically using advanced statistical analysis of the scanned page (using OCR). This enables batches of documents to be scanned without prior separation, which makes the complete scan cycle from paper to PDF much faster. The scan operator no longer needs to separate documents into batches before scanning because the ADR does that process for you.

When used in conjunction with our OCR and Data Gatherer plug-ins, it is possible to create automated document capture solutions for capturing information from multiple document types. Once this data has been captured it can be used for indexing or automated file naming (or exported to other systems using the Data Exporter plug-in for example)
