What Does The Barcode Plug-in Do? The barcode recognition reads barcodes from documents. These barcodes can be used to name the PDF file, separate batches or fed into existing legacy systems (using some of our other plug-ins). ScanToPDF can use all of the barcode (or just parts of it) and pass the barcode value to the filenamer plug-in to name the file, or the data exporter plug-in to send the data to existing legacy systems. The barcode recognition can also "filter out" un-wanted barcodes using advanced Regular Expression pattern matching syntax.
