The ScanToPDF PDF Metadata plug-in writes data into the XMP data layer in a PDF which enables the PDF to store the data and for this data to be crawlable/indexable by search engines such as Google, Google Desktop or Windows search (using a suitable iFilter)
Key data can be entered, for example
✔ Barcode index values
✔ Index values entered using the document indexing plug-in
To write into the "
Dublin core" of the PDF you can use these metadata field names
docinfo_author
docinfo_title
docinfo_subject
docinfo_keywords

Download, Installation & Configuration
Download the ScanToPDF Setup Install from the link below. Run the install program (which is called scantopdfsetup.exe) to install ScanToPDF.
Adding Plugins
Start ScanToPDF
Click the "Edit" menu and choose "Options"
Click the "Plugins" BUTTON
The box below will be populated with ICONS for every plugin (those already installed will have a ticked check box).
Check the plugin ICON to install it into the current configuration
Click the "Restart" BUTTON to restart ScanToPDF
The current configuration will have the new plugin(s) added to it
